A card like Elvish Mystic has to wait a turn until it can attack or be tapped to create green mana, but a card like Goblin Smuggler can attack the turn you cast it or use its tap ability that reads another target creature with power two or less cant be blocked this turn. Vigilance A creature with vigilance doesnt tap when it attacks
Mythic rares also didnt exist back in 2004, and I believe that also has a hand in stacking most value of the set in the top couple of cards of Neon Dynasty , whereas it was a flatter field of rares back in the day
Obviously which lands (if any) you draw in the first four turns will impact your decisions moving forward, but just think about it
