the latter of which has the Leonard period logo stamp in the cartouche

The rod is straight and the ferrule fits are good

The reel is in excellent working condition but shows some edge wear and corner dings at the bottom of the reel

"JS" on inner frame for Jimmy Smith, Hardy reel maker. Excellent overall condition. Nickel silver monel line guide. The ribbed brass foot is full length and has not been altered. The ebonite handle spins freely. Tension regulator works as intended. Nice strong check throughout its range.
