I also sprayed the wet paints at the edges with a misting bottle and tilted the piece back and forth until I got the look I wanted

I got this map as well as the other Wisconsin maps from Wisconsin travel and tourism. It says "Welcome to Wisconsin" on the left side. I wanted to paint a childlike, fun, folk art version of a barn with a contemporary landscape. Gold colored raised metal is used on the horizon line to embellish this piece.
