Much of the leaded surface still remains. Original, unmolested ribbed brass foot. The tensioner functions perfectly throughout its range. The spool spindle fit is nice and tight. The ebonite handle spins freely. No cracks, chips, or dings. The initials "JS" (for Jimmy Smith) appear on the winding plate. All in all, a spectacular pre
